Service Description
Maori have been weaving for generations on the marae, wananga and various institutes. I first starting weaving at school, first projects weaving piupiu and learning the art of taniko for the bodices. I lived in Brisbane for 20 years and attended wananga to learn to weave korowai, and have since been learning the art of weaving with harakeke. I have found learning to weave is never ending there is always more to learn. This is why I have created this online course to share what I have learnt and still learning so you can share this taonga with your whanau.
